Beautiful weather of late serves is a personal mandate for plein air painting. Today, I returned to lovely Laura Anderson Lake dressed in its final glow of autumn for a plein air session, and as usual, my time was well-spent. Fall color mirrored in the water provided a challenge along with the light on the stately white oaks. A fisherman walked by and said, “It’s hard to paint this much pretty ain’t it?” I wholeheartedly agreed. I know that winter is closing in, and I feel pressure to make the best of these lovely fall days.“As for me, I could leave the world with today in my eyes.” my friend to Buddy “A Christmas Memory” by Truman Capote
