Rather than get in my car and make a trip to paint on location, I just stepped out in the back yard and painted the shastas planted earlier in the spring. Like many yards in West Virginia, the yard is definitely on a slope and setting up my easel was not easy. Neither was standing to paint. ...oh, the joys of painting in the great out doors. I’m not particularly pleased with this little piece, so it will need some tweaking. Tomorrow is another day.
