My morning was spent in Nitro on the newly built river walk at the city park, such a lovely place to paint. I will continue to come here until I manage to get this water right. The river seemed a light value, but I got it too light. I see several problems, but nothing that can't be remedied. Each time I paint outdoors, I try to use it as a time of learning, rather than completing another painting. Keeping that goal in the forefront, prevents discouragement.
