Painted on location, this little barn charmed me the first time I spotted it. Nestled against the dark green of the mountain, it represents a vanishing breed-the wooden barn. I have painted many because they are getting rare and capture a moment in history. Wooden barns are often replaced by metal buildings which are cheaper, but are sadly lacking in character. This one is a miniature of its larger counterpart but no less appealing.
