Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church has been standing on a winding curve of Airport Road for as long as I can remember. The only time I can remember visiting this place was with my parents who were looking for relatives buried in the adjoining cemetery. I'm not aware that services are currently held, although the church building is in relatively good condition. Traditionally, the Primitive Baptists (my parents referred to them as "Hardshells") met for services only on designated Sundays. Maybe I have just missed being in the community on the right Sunday. I love this distant view with the blue rolling hills in the distant horizon. ...reminds me of a western movie. This is the bones for a expanded painting, possibly.
