This quick painting of the city's welcome sign was NOT painted on site because my life is precious to me. In the morning, which is the time with the best light, the traffic is such that I risk my life just taking the photo! People are in a hurry to get to work, I suppose. The amount of morning traffic always surprises me. This sign was erected several years back, and I failed to notice it most of the time, I'm sorry to say. It does provide a welcoming touch to the city, and I'm glad it's there. Welcome to Ashland.
