Using an image from a plein air study, this painting is a spin on outdoor work from the summer. One of the many benefits of plein air painting is references for larger work often done in the studio. I loved this old home and the light play on the side of the house. The place was actually vacant, but I tried to give it a sense of being occupied. The place was lovely in the morning light.
