On my third session painting the Glen Ferris Power Plant and Kanawha Falls, I decided to move from the river's edge to the pier leading to the plant's base. I eliminated most of the sweeping scope of the falls, focusing on the plant and the closest section of the falls. The view is closer with less background. The greatest challenge was taking the picture which took far too much time. The glare of the sun would not let me take a viewable shot. I finally gave up and moved on to another view.
