My brother and I share an affinity for old architecture and landmarks. He and I spent an afternoon taking photos of places of interest in our home county and surrounding areas, one of which was in Talladega County. Waldo Mill has been a mainstay on Highway 77 as long as I can remember. Serving as a mill for years, numerous antique stores and restaurants, it now stands vacant and lonely. The place is iconic, and I have always loved the old place. I especially liked this side shot of the stairs leading from the upper story to ground level. The light pattern was engaging...begged to be painted.
