As a newcomer, I have only recently been introduced to Gritt's Farm. What a treat! A combination of vegetable, shrub, and flower nurseries, the place just has to be visited in order for one to fully appreciate the scope and variety. In addition, it's location is in a lovely setting, and the drive alone is worth the effort. My goal was to paint sunflowers and did I ever find them! The challenge was the sheer size of the field of blooms. I began with trying to capture a portion of the field and later moved to individual blooms. This place is well worth a visit.
