The eastern side of old Carpenter home caught the morning light. The shadow play and this perspective presented an interesting challenge, and I will have to return to this study and correct both. This home was certainly adequate for Emily Garrett Carpenter and her relatively small family; however, if her son John Carpenter and his wife Jenima raised 10-12 children in this home, they were crowded. The home has three small bedrooms, which means children slept three, maybe four per bed. Sleeping arrangements would have had to be creative. This lovely old place no doubt was an active place.
