At the very onset, I want to say that I love Alabama Power Co. and do appreciate the services they provide. How much better are our lives with electrical power at our fingertips? How comforting on a dark, stormy night during a power outage to know that Alabama Power personnel are risking life and limb to restore power. However, tree trimming and hedging is not their strong suit; oh, they can definitely remove tree limbs and cut trees, but beautification of the site in question is not in the cards. With that said, I try to be positive and grateful for whatever, so I am grateful that the power pole/line between my neighbors and me is clear of menacing obstructions. We also have a clear view of the goings on across the way. In recognition of our new views which we both have, I painted my new view. I did omit that pesky power pole, but I just may add it later. After all, THAT was the reason behind it all.
