Small Town, USA ...a sampling

Several people have asked about the nature of the Small Town, USA exhibit, so I thought a sampling is an order. The heart of the exhibit is a body of 28 paintings depicting Ashland. These images (all within the city limits) are scenes with which we are familiar, yet my hope is that the familiar will be seen in a new light. In addition to the paintings, there will be signed and numbered 11x14 prints available of selected images. Notecards (3x5) of selected images will also be available. These are designed for just that, writing a note; however, I have known people to frame these for gifting. Finally, the souvenir album is a collection of 18 images and explanation of this project with my personal reflections. Pictured below is a 10x20 painting of the intersection of Hwy 9 South and Hwy 77 on the east side of the square by Mapco. Partnered with this painting are a print of same image, matching packaged notecard, and the souvenir album picturing the identical image and text. All of these pieces will be displayed in Clay County's Museum on Ashland Square on August 18.
