This piece was a plein air work painted during Paint on the Mountain at Alabama's Cheaha State Park, a workshop held in April of this year. With an undercoating of painter's putty, the surface is textured which produces all manner of interesting details. Like the setting in which it was painted, Cabin Fever has an other worldly appeal.
