This church on 4th Street is on my walking route, and during blooming season the entrance is lovely. Someone goes beyond just " keeping the grounds." Knock-out roses, daylilies, periwinkles are stationed in shrubbery. Clearly, the grounds are a labor of love. The morning sun plays on the front creating a light show of sorts on this Tuesday morning, my final installment in the Small Town, USA project. What a pleasure this has been. I will return to this canvas and paint details such as the sign out front, enhance highlights on building, and touch up trees and shrubbery, but I can accomplish that after this paint has dried. While working on Small Town, USA, I realized that I'm more productive when a long-range project is on my plate. ...after Small Town, what could that be???
