It's a fortunate person who gets to do what he/she loves, and I feel so fortunate anytime I have the opportunity to paint outdoors. Monday morning, I got an early start and headed for Shiloh Baptist. My goal was to capture the morning sun as it played on the building, asphalt, and foliage. I am not finished, but I managed to get the information I needed for a completed painting. Light can transform any object into something special, and that certainly was the case here. I'm excited about this one, although many details need adding or enhanced. Possibly two more sessions and this one is ready for its home.
