Plein Air #3

On our third painting session, we left the park and visited a home on the Abel Mall road. Mr. and Mrs. Dingler allowed our plein air class to invade their property for an entire day. Painting different views over the farm, we scattered like chickens.  This is a view of a utility shed in the back. I was drawn by the darkened doorway with a barrel in shadow. On the front of the shed, a green patina of algae had formed, which I loved. On the top of the shed a vine randomly curved framing the opening (as if arranged). The morning sun was brilliant outside. As always, there are changes to be made, but this one is a keeper. I need to lighten the grass in the front and bring out some highlights created by sunlight, but nothing that can't be remedied.  Thanks to the Dinglers for allowing a bunch of perfect strangers to descend upon their property and have a wonderful painting experience.
