This piece has been on the easel for two weeks with a lot more work to go. Having taught English for years, I am familiar with spelling weaknesses, but this enterprising truck farmer tops them all. I give him/her credit for creativity. Other than spelling corrections, more needs to happen here, obviously, but there is promise. The appeal of this painting to me is the whimsical nature...just a joyful atmosphere and mood. I bet a lot of produce is sold from this set-up. I would stop just to get a closer look at the old car and talk to the sign maker.
