Plein Air on Wesobulga Creek

Recently spent a fine day on Wesobulga Creek in the Mellow Valley area. This lovely little creek eventually finds its way to Cragford and joins Crooked Creek. This piece is in progress, and what I have painted needs reworking, but I refuse to apologize for it. An opportunity to paint outdoors is never a waste of time; one always learns something. I learned that I have a lot of improving to do, especially with water. With this I failed to lay in my dark values, especially in the rock cliff. I'll return to this one in the studio, for I did like the subject.
