This piece has been a pickle, mainly because I started before I knew exactly what I was going to do. I DID NOT PLAN!!! I know better. Consequently, I have painted, repainted, added, deleted, and rearranged. I have struggled with the perspective of the bed and the quilt pattern, which at this point is nonexistent. The shaft of light streaming across the room onto the bed is the focal point of the painting. Everything is subservient to that. I think I will eventually get this, but it has not been an easy one.
