All my life I have heard that handling frogs will cause warts to develop on one's skin. I never yearned to play with frogs anyway, so the prospect of developing warts added to my disdain. The young girl in this painting however, shows no such disdain. Maybe she knows something I didn't know. This painting is a winsome piece that always creates smiles.
