This is one of the many lighthouses located on Prince Edward Island, Canada. My painting buddy and I spent a wonderful day on this site. Since that initial visit, we have returned twice to paint at this spot. Some of my happiest moments have been spent plein air painting, and the days spent here are no doubt near the top of the list. Lighthouses are an interesting lot, their style depending upon the location. Those on Prince Edward Island are the characteristic white wood with red trim and are more "house-like" in structure.
