...more practice with the human figure from Alabama Art Colony. Here the challenge (besides the obvious challenge of painting something that looked human) was the perspective. The model was turned away from me which presented her shoulders and back. Painting her shoulders was difficult for me. I wanted the impression of the weight of the pot. Also the perspective of the face was tricky, but overall, I was happy with the results. I was after believability. I think it is here, or maybe I looked at it so long that I've lost objectivity.
