She is on a walking tour and is taking a break, and I have taken several breaks while painting her. I was drawn to the figure, her posture, and interesting light patterns, and I think I will like it if I ever finish. This painting is certainly not "there," and has been reworked multiple times. I have even decreased the size by two or more inches on three sides. I've changed the color of steps and background building also. I could have saved time by just started over, but my stubbornness refused to let it go. I hope to finish this one soon, despite the struggles.
