Perry worked on this 20x20 panel yesterday. This panel has been prepped with the carpenter's putty like I talked about in the previous blog. If you zoom in closely, you can see the texture. She is struggling with the gladiolia blooms. I listened to her gripe about them all afternoon, but I think she'll work out the problems. I told her to just put it aside for today. "Let it rest," I said. "You need to work on something else; let this dry, and then come back to it." I guess that what she's going to do. What would be a good title for this one that did not include the word gladiolia? ...just asking because I had to look that up to check spelling.
