I saw a gardening DIY site about unique planters, and one was a trashcan, something like this one. Of course, these aren't used like they once were. Now, they would not be an economical planter; however, it would provide a durable container. I love the shadow play on the metal and idea that what WAS used for trash now contains glorious blooms. I am reminded that God has done something similar in principle, yet more glorious. Housed within our frailness and weakness is the very essence of God. What a marvelous thought. Humanity is given the capacity to be containers of the very presence of God. The Apostle Paul used the metaphor of clay pots, breakable and temporal, yet they provide the dwelling for this "treasure." II Corinthians 4:7
