I have always thought if I were wealthy, I would travel and buy art as my souvenirs of choice. Of course, my better judgement tells me that will never be a choice I have to make. When I do have the opportunity to travel, I bring back photos, a LOT of photos. From these I try to produce my own art. Granted, that's not quite the same, but I do enjoy the process. This 8x10 is from a shot taken on the way to White Sands, NM from the window of the car. I loved the desolate, grazing land in contrast with the rock in the hills. The little outbuildings were dwarfed by the peaks in the distance. New Mexico is one of those places I think I could live.
